Apple, almond & caramel pizzas

  • 6 individual pizza bases
  • 1/2 cup (60g) almond meal
  • 1/2 cup (110g) brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60g) butter, softened
  • 800g can pie apple
  • 2 tsp mixed spice
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 cup (250ml) prepared caramel sauce


  1. Preheat oven to 190°C. Place pizza bases onto baking trays.
  2. In a bowl mix almond meal, brown sugar and butter together to form a paste. In a separate bowl mix apple and mixed spice together.
  3. Spread each base with almond paste. Top with apple mixture. Sprinkle with slivered almonds.
  4. Bake in oven for 10 minutes, until pizza crust is golden. Remove from oven and drizzle with caramel sauce. Serve pizzas warm with ice cream or cream.
